Yuna is my ultimate favourite character! She was my first cosplay (then I remade her) and yes, gunner Yuna is my fav of them all and i'll tell you why!

A lot of people dislike X-2 because they thought it had a Charlies Angels feel or the battle system was bad or Yuna doesnt look so innocent anymore. I believe the change that Yuna went through was necessary. She lost her religion, she lost the man she loved and she had to help rebuild her world. Of course she is going to chuck away her summoner garbs because she is not a summoner anymore! (plus Rikku helped her find some new clothes and we all know the fashion sense of that young lady). She became a sphere hunter to find her love and I don't quite see her running up and down cliffs and ruins with that long skirt on. Remember how she use to run in that thing? Nothing would ever get done haha! I like the design, it brings out a new and changed Yuna because frankly everything did change in Spira and she has a life to live now when before she thought she would die summoning the last Aeon. 

As for the battle system, I loved it because it kept me on my toes! I had to be quick on my feet and strategise while having the cool option to switch between garbs that give me different abilities (very similar to FFXIII but got cool clothing and weapons to go along with it without that annoying and boring 'auto' button they had) 

That's my two cents. I could go on about it forever but haha you will have to comment and ask my opinion on other things.
